Louis Dreyfus Armateurs runs the popular LD Lines network of ferry routes that includes Portsmouth-Le Havre, Newhaven-Dieppe, Ramsgate-Ostend, and most recently, Gijón-St-Nazaire. Sans Frontiere was tasked with raising the UK profile of the company and its expanding ferry services.

Our response

Sans Frontiere recommended an integrated marketing strategy as the most effective means of building and maintaining awareness of LD Lines and its new routes. This has involved ongoing local and national media campaigns including LD Lines’ sponsorship of breakfast, traffic and travel bulletins across the Global Radio network and Meridian TV campaigns in the South East; cross-channel outdoor campaigns; national and regional press activity; several successful launch events; a popular exhibition stand at the France Show, Earl’s Court; and a year-long brand-awareness campaign with the LD Lines bus that generated over two million visitors for the leading cross-Channel ferry company. Sans Frontiere also provides LD Lines with support for its social media channels.
