As the heating season kicks off, Sans Frontiere client Remeha proves it is no bench player with its winning combination of high performance, energy efficient heating and hot water systems and clear, consistent, persuasive branding and communication.
October has been the month of exhibitions for this premier league heating supplier and manufacturer, and it was up to long term marketing agency Sans Frontiere to make sure that Remeha was kitted out to impress.
At Sans Frontiere we have extensive experience in promoting our clients at exhibitions – from initial concept and design through to stand build, from eye-catching, informative marketing literature to effective awareness-building campaigns online and in trade press.

Design visuals for Remeha
For Remeha’s presence at the PHEX exhibition series across the UK, our creative team came up with an inspired, easy-to-assemble, shell-scheme stand design to reinforce Remeha’s company branding and highlight the Avanta boilers and Remeha Sola solar thermal solutions on display. With the PHEX stand sizes varying from exhibition to exhibition, our crafty creatives designed a series of panels that can be cleverly adapted in number to suit the location. Meanwhile, our PR team helped drive visitors to the Remeha stand through meaningful coverage in trade magazines and on the official PHEX website.
It goes without saying that exhibitors need to stand out from the crowd at exhibitions. That’s the challenge Sans Frontiere faced preparing Remeha for this October’s popular InstallerLive at Birmingham’s NEC. We needed to meet a number of challenges in our stand concept: promote the Remeha product range; attract as many installers and heating engineers as possible; encourage sign-up to the new installer loyalty scheme, works.
We decided to divide the stand into two zones. One side was the product area with the Remeha Avanta boilers and Sola taking pride of place. Posters advertised works and offered visitors to the stand the opportunity to win an Avanta boiler by registering with works. The second half was devoted to football. Promo girls encouraged installers to take part in a goal scoring competition, with the winner receiving a free trip to Amsterdam.
With the concept approved, back in the Sans Frontiere studio our talented team burned the midnight oil in preparation for the event. Our designers set to designing the bold podium graphics, compelling poster panels, and the attractive eight-page registration leaflet for works; our account managers efficiently organised the Remeha stand, sourced the footballs, overcame the Health and Safety hurdles and booked the promo girls; while our PR team created a must-see exhibitor profile on the InstallerLive website and liaised with the exhibition organisers and media to secure valuable editorial coverage online and in the trade press.
Over the course of the show, the football attracted queues of would-be strikers keen to ‘Score with Remeha’ and win a trip to the Dutch capital. At the same time, the stand raised awareness of the Remeha product range and Remeha benefits including the installer loyalty scheme. So, a hat trick than, for SF’s stand design!
